That's the title of the DS9 episode I'm watching. While I like DS9, I have to say this show is everything wrong with it.
Shakaar's plot is kind of the opposite of Brecht's Caucasian Chalk Circle. In Brecht's play, resources go to those who are working for the common good. In Shakaar, resources go to people who steal them and then beat the shit out of anybody who comes back to get them. In a way, the script is impressively vapid, because the position it espouses is not only indefensible according to Trek (or other) socialism, but actually sucks according to the stupidest Randroid capitalism you can get because the plot revolves around stolen property.
