BSG: Razor

Plot: Mary Sue is sad because nobody understands how cool the SS was. Later she dies and her CO gives her a medal for having Nazi discipline, right to the end.

But who is she a Mary Sue for?

She's a Perfect Storm of Mary Sue-ness for all the right wing military SF wanksters who watch the show. Razor was a pure artifact of prostitution for that group. The flashbacks did not add anything to the series and the paleocylon plot was a bloated, fanservice-ridden way to add two elemets to the ongoing series that could have been done in 15 miutes of any other episode.

I liked the old guy's flaky nostrils.

Seriously, though, i was wishing that the main character had in fact been Cain in full-on Kurtz mode.

Wouldn't the whole New Caprica = Iraq story line have alienated the right wingers?

this is why i find most genre media repulsive.

its like moral compasses stopped functioning c. 1915, really.

Okay, that got a laugh.
